The time has finally come for the PROJECT KNIFE MAKING part 3!
Finally I have got the time for the PROJECT KNIFE MAKING part 3! I have been working so much so I have not had the time for the knives of a few days, but today I have been able to continue with them. Today I have mounted the blade on knife number 2 and the modified design on knife number one. In today’s post I will show the second and the easier option that I use when I mount the knife blade. Have you read Part 1 and Part 2 of this project?
Easiest way to mount a knife blade!
The absolute easiest way to mount a blade (according to me) is simply to drill a hole in the piece of wood that will become the handle for the knife. You select a drill bit that has same diameter as the thickness of the blade of the knife and drills from “the front” on the knife and straight down the middle. Then you drill from the sides and diagonally down towards the middle.
Here are some pictures that show how I mean.
