STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER
Today I had intended to share my experiences of STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER. I have used this product for a few years now and am very satisfied. When I saw that it’s sold for a nice price on Amazon.com. The STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER is a convenient multi file. It quickly files the teeth and the depth gauge in a single operation. Ideal for all users. For 1/4″P, 3/8″P, .325″, 3/8 and .404″ chains. With the integrated fault tolerance equalization.
Why do you need to STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER?
Since it is both sharpen the teeth and depth gauge at the same time you sharpen you chain in just a few minutes. Its design allows you to keep a fairly precise angle to the saw teeth when you sharpen it. At the same time it files the depth gauge and it makes the chain optimally tuned. It is called the STIHL 2 IN 1 EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER but actually it is a 3 in 1 tool. The STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER is a guide/template, a round file and a flat file.
What many people do wrong when they sharpen the chain
Many people forget or neglect to file the depth gauge and it makes that the chain does not cut as effectively. The depth gauge is higher than the saw teeth and then the saw teeth can’t cut the wood. Most of the cutting chains are ground at 30 degrees from the factory and it is the optimal angle when you cut down a tree. If you are going to use the chainsaw in a sawmill so is the recommended angle is 10 degrees.
I have used the STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER on many different chains. My favorite brands are STIHL, Oregon, Husqvarna and Jonsered and never had any problems. My experience is that the chainsaw runs smoother and the chain saws better since I started using the STIHL EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER. I like that it is small enough to fit in your backpack. And it is just the right size to not get lost. I think that it can be difficult to keep track of a round file, Flat file and template separately, and it is easy to lose them. With this file so you will always have with you what you need.
I will make a YouTube movie where I sharpen the chain on my chainsaw. I will also cut out some trees so you will see that it works, and how easy it is to use it.
